Nigerian Star opens up on record-breaking transfer move
While many are yet to come to terms on what informed his choice to make a move to Slovakia, Nigeria international, Rabiu Ibrahim has opened up on why he made the decision to leave Belgium.
Rabiu Ibrahim has experience in the Slovakia top-flight having made 46 games appearances for AS Trencin, with ten goals to his name during the 2016 season and according to him, he is making a return because he has ‘high ambitions’
“I am very happy with the transfer to Slovan. After the season I had different options, but clearly, I decided to Slovan.
“First of all, I have to work hard for the team and fight for a place in the starting line-up.
“I have high ambitions – winning matches and trophies, ” Ibrahim Rabiu said after his signing
Slovakia Super Liga team šK Slovan Bratislava have confirmed the signing of Rabiu Ibrahim for a reported club record transfer fee thought to be in the region of one million euros.
